Congregate Meal Sites

Overview: Congregate meals are provided in a group setting. There is usually a suggested donation amount to receive a meal. They often promote socialization among the participants. Meal sites can be in churches, schools, residential communities, senior centers, or recreational centers. The meal consists of a hot meal which meets 1/3 of the USDA daily nutritional requirement for adults. Contact your local senior center or nearest Agency on Aging to find a site nearest you.
