MDHHS and MiCAFE Navigation partners

As many of you know, MDHHS is rearranging their partnerships with organizations. The new platform allows for more access to client information, as well as some additional duties on the part of the organization who uses it. MDHHS requires every organization to sign up for their new navigation partnership.

We are working with your organization to gather information so that we can register in the new navigation partner platform. The new platform has some enhanced features that are available. If you register under MiCAFE Network, we will be able to provide additional assistance and support for the clients that you assist with those enhanced features. As an example, we are available to answer questions or help with an application in the event that you have an extended absence from your office.

The new MDHHS MI Bridges system training has started.  Training becomes available after an organization signs up as a navigation partner, either through MiCAFE or directly with MDHHS. If you have registered with MiCAFE, we will alert you as soon as the training is available.

MDHHS has indicated that the new system will be available by April 2018 statewide with some parts of the state having access to the new system before others. At that time, we will connect with the new system through MiSOAP.org.
